Hi EDG, good to talk to you having a look at that, certain things spring to mind, based on the site alone and not because I joined which I didn't.

You will receive 7-12 consumables

(You wouldn't need that many anyway, unless 12 consumables represented Met-rx sachets for example, then I would assume 12 consumables represented 12 different supplements, or 3-4 supplements replicated 3-4 times.)

The retail on the consumable products will be higher than the box costs alone!

(If you indeed compared that to buying 7-12 consumables at a higher cost than $30 in total yes, but 1-2 consumables no not necessarily)

Here's the sort of things I believe would serve you well.

A: Protein powder, a good one with 4-6 ingredients, not one with loads of ingredients, proprietary blends and a higher cost. Remember that such products don't represent the holy grail of find that last 10lbs of bulk and were not available in Arnies day and therefore are irrelevant in that respect, but the cheaper ones with protein and carbs will suffice.

B: BCAA's if you want something different.

C: Glutamine. Many protein powders have elevated amounts of glutamine plus BCAA's these days, but supplemental glutamine is okay, for when you need more without all the other aminos, or to simply stack with your P P.

D: Creatine, if you are big enough, as I think lighter people with limited bulk don't benefit as much as other people with more bulk do. Been there done that, wouldn't use it again, but you might benefit from it.

Looking at those, A or B could be your main focus, with C being a secondary focus then D if you really wanted to.

Anything else to me isn't worth your time, as many supplements are overpriced, over-hyped, full of unnecessary ingredients with limited and / or non-essential effects.

In the case of the products this site gives you, as I didn't sign up, do you get any ability to properly analyse the products for lack of proprietary blends, good and sufficient ingredient content etc, to make sure you're 100% satisfied with what you're getting?

They should do that, but you never know.

Are they giving you branded stuff, or stuff they make themselves?
