EVERYBODY MUST RESPOND!!

Post by rippedtothecore »

Hi I am not really ripped to the core but i Just spent 800 dollars on a nutritionist a personal trainer so I hope I am on way! But results showed that if I weighed 119lbs I would be at a 19% body weight (if i didnt loose any muscle) that weight seems so high, in college i weighed 100lbs. I am currently 150lbs and 5'3 at 32% body fat. So I would like some fit chicks to tell me how much they weight and their body fat percent, also suit/dress size! PLEASE! :D

I don't know what percentage is now, but at one time I was at aprox 19% , 129 pounds, 5'2. People were shocked when I told them weight. This phenomenon is due to density; just like an ounce of gold is smaller than an ounce of glue, so too is a pound of muscle smaller than a pound of fat. However, everyone is different, and so weights that work for one woman will invariably not work for another! Try 119 pounds, and see if you like it!

Weight really has nothing to do weight body fat. Last time I checked I weighed almost 140 and was 19% . Just because a person weighs more on the scale does not mean that they're carrying alot of fat... It could just mean that they have alot of muslce. :)

If you're 44, there is no evidence it's starting to show, and that's meant with much respect, because you look like a fantastic advert for the maturer female.

As for weight, I totally agree with Cassie. Muscle and water also dictate to some extent weight levels.

Muscle weight more then fat

Post by peachygg »

I am currently dieting, but when I started. I weight 187 and 30% fat. When I told people how much I weight there were like no way because of how I care it, I tell people Im just big boned. I also use free weight and enjoy lifting but that is propapbly why. I am working on getting down to 145 and 20% body fat.

Notice you've already dropped 10lbs. So it looks like you're doing well at the moment. You should be proud of your goals. I think you're weight target is good, especially if 5-10lbs of that was muscle, just because it's healthy, natural, and physically beneficial long term, to carry that bit of extra muscle condition, and the Bone density increases associated with the way you get it.

im quite fit but im been exercising by powerwalking/jogging for 2 hrs most days rather than weights (so i dont appear to have like muscles).

im 5,2-5,3 so the same height as you are and i weigh 121 pounds .... current body fat thou is 27.9%.

Thou i have this body fat level, i do appear very slim thou (im often told not to loose any more weight) and are an Aust jeans size 8 (which is quite tiny). (size 4??? American?). im only 67 cm (26.8 inches) around waist.

you probably just need more muscle on your frame then...your is high-ish simply because your muscle level is so low...weight sis where it's at, 2hrs of moderate level activity will actually have you gain wt the more times you do it

I still need a good amount of improvement, but I thought I would post mine. I'm 5'9", 153lbs, and 21% body fat. Body fat is what you should be looking at. Weight could be fat, but it could also be muscle, and water weight. Not something I would worry about. I am a size 6 dress. Good luck!

You have one of those appearances though, where a lot of people would say, why do you need to improve, you look great as you are, but I can completely understand, why you would want to take your physical progress further, because anything physically beneficial for people, shouldn't ever be questioned, denied or refuted, but supported and understood.

I hope you do acheive what you're looking for, and not trying to sound out of turn here, but you really do look great. There's a nice sort of natural soft appearance to you, not like some who do too much to their image, so they look overdone, flashy and false. You have a kind of soft earthy, appearance, if that makes sense, and it shows in your attitude to people as well, as I think people who have a brashy image, would often tend to act brashy, loud and often have an attitude problem.

A person like you, seems to me like someone you could take one look at, and know you'd be in the company of someone honest, genuine, warm and very human, and your actions on here would back that up for me too. You act with all the qualities of a Lady, and show a lot of respect and understanding to others.

So I really hope you acheive what you want in life, because you've certainly proven to people like me, you deserve it :).
