i usually go running 4-5 times a week for about 45 mins to an hour each day. routine would go somewhat like this:
stretch
warm up jog
sprint about a minute
jog for around 3 minutes
sprint another minute
walk for maybe 30 seconds
jog for 30 secs
sprint for a minute or so
go back to jogging
sprint
walk
etc.
is this a good routine to get abs? i weight train too. i just want to know if the cardio i do is allright. also would this be considered HIIT? thanks.

what i am really aiming for is to get rid of the extra flab of fat over the abs. i know i have them under because i can already sort of see the top two.there is more fat on the lower abs than on the top, so thats why.
as for diet and workout:
im fine for diet, consuming high protein things like tuna and chicken, but not eating too many calories for day. only drink water, dont eat sugary stuff, and try to eat 5 small meals a day, not just 3 big ones.
i workout core and abs about twice a week, as i am still young so i figured i needed to rest them. i do planks, situps, leg raises, and some other ones, but i dont do the same things each day so body doesnt get used to it. i have 2 dumbells that i use for the rest of the body. what are the best ab routines that you have tried?
i just thought that the cardio plus workout would be sufficient to get rid of the fat and show some muscle you know? let me know if i am correct. thanks so much

Working out
Working out has it's place, but there seems to be a lot more people that workout then eat clean. And you will never have visible abs if you don't eat right.swanso5 wrote:you need a decent wts plan...how heavy are your wts? are they heavy? ab workouts don't get you abs, clean eating does
You won't it's true, but visable Abs, are secondary to condition.
In most womens cases, to expect to get solid Ab definition, without doing a contest diet, is very hard. You get some, but not necessaily a lot like guys can.
He could get visable Abs, but condition should always be a primary factor first and foremost. Not saying that to look down on you, I'm just saying that as some people may get the priorities confused.
