Don't know where to start?????

Post by jams5747 »

I am a female 5'4" tall and weigh 160 Lbs. I'd like to lose some fat and build lean muscle at the same time. abs are flabby from 2 births and butt needs lifting as well as thunder thighs needing toned down. I am also wanting to build chest muscle. I have no idea where to start & cannot afford a gym membership. Any ideas on working out from home & with what types of equipment & how often? Cardio or weight training or BOTH? What would be the single best type of cardio equip & weight training equip to buy for home?? Any supplements??

Welcome! Yes, both cardio and weights. You can do a lot just with your body weight (squats, lunges, push ups, dips, etc.). A few pair of dumbbells will give you a great variety as well. For cardio, get a piece of equipment that you will enjoy the most. Or, buy clothes appropriate for the climate you live in and go outside.
