Creatine

Post by Gogobig »

Just a quick question, I just bought 2 tubs of Creatine NOX CG3 which expired in March 2009. When I received the tubs the creatine was not all in powder, but in chunks as well-which surprised me the most.

I know that many creatine powders can be taken up to 2 years of their expiration dates, but I have never seen creatine chunks like that. question is should I take this creatine (would last for 3 months) or not? Im just looking for your thoughts on this one.

When you say Creatine Chunks, if you poke them with a spoon, do they feel like a Sugar Cube, or do they just crumble?

Well it was a huge chunk. I used some kitchen tools :D to chop it apart. I could possibly crush it into powder. It def. did not crumble. It feels pretty solid, but like I said I could crush it into powder...

NOX CG3 by Xyience. This is great creatine-glutamine-nitric oxide suppliment (all in one) . I tried many other GNC creatines and Muscletech products, but nothing beats NOX CG3...With that said, I never ordered from supplement warehouse so this is first time ordering from them-pretty dissapointed but cant argue for the price i paid. Ill try it tonight and ill let you know about results, wish me luck :D

Creatine NO products are poor. Just like NO-explode, all hype, not much substance and in the case of NO-explode, it has Caffeine, which would slightly counteract the Vasodliation abilities of NO, as Caffeine Vasocosntricts.

80% of being says yours has Caffeine in it. Might be listed as Guarana or Guarana Leaf extract, or maybe something like Gotu Kola / Kola Nut extract perhaps, but it would be there none the less, if it did list either of those.

However I think it's required by law or something like that, to list Caffiene content in carrier substances like Guarana, incase people with problems like Coronary issues use it, and possibly trigger a Heart attack, or related problems.

Whatever the Creatine content is doing, the NO probably isn't doing much. Plus to recollection, Creatine is made up of Arginine, and 2 other aminos, I fail to recall, so heightened NO production would probably occur to some extent, just off the Creatine alone.

I would go with a pure creatine rather than a mix. those thinngs are more expensive and are all hype.
I would guess its chunky because it got moist. just a guess though. If that is the case try putting a chunk in some rice for a couple days see how it breaks up after that. or send it back for new stuff they should be good about it.
