What rollerblading sports are there that girls can do other

I have a friend who loves rollerblading and would like to take it up as a sport, but does not know any other sports she can do other than hockey. She has tried hockey and she hates it.

Re: Protein Diet

The high protein diet will cause you to lose weight but it will not cause you to ghain muscle...the body needs lots of protein when lifting weight to build enough tissue(muscles), but if you don't lift weight then the high protein-low carb diet will actually cause you to lose weight.....

Re: soup diets

Don't go on a soup diet. Diets don't work. Consult a nutritionist and exercise instead. In the mean time, - Have some protein with every meal (about the size of the palm of your hand) so that you will stay full longer and have less of an urge to snack between meals - Eat smaller portions on smaller ...

Re: How do I know how many calories I'm burning?

Depends how fast your metabolism is, the more calories you eat the faster your metabolism gets to burn the food. Normal people burn about 1200 calories a day doing normal things. However someone starving themself like you has a very low metabolic rate. So you probably burn 100 calories if you move a...

Re: how many calories

One way is to calculate your BMR - just do a googe search for a BMR calculator - plug in the info and you got your answer on how many calories to maintain your weight. Now minus 15 to 20% of that and that is what you should take in to lose weight. Don't ever drop your calories less than 30% because ...

Re: energy drinks

Too much energy drinks are very bad for you. They are only made for prolonged exercise, or when you are extremely tired. Just like the acid in Coca-Cola can lower your bone density and rot your teeth, energy drinks have a similar effect. It says on the can that you are only supposed to have a maximu...

Re: Calories

There are many factors in deciding your calorie intake, such as...what is your ideal weight, how much over weight are you, are you diabetic, any other health factors, typically you should eat at least 1000 calories and up to 2400. Remember it's not just eating right, you have to have an exercise pro...

Re: Is meal plan proper?

You are not having problems now, because you are probably running around all day, growing and not eating to much for what you do. This may change later in life. You already know what is not so optimal so work on that. You do not need a meal plan. Watch that you get enough fruits and vegetables and t...

Re: Total Carbs vs Net Carbs

Not sure this will help, but I offer it anyway. That is a very good question. I'll try to simplify a very complex process. There are two normal sources of energy. Stored fat and carbohydrates. Stored fat is burned slowly and carbs are burned fast. You're always burning both, but the ratio changes wi...

Re: Cardio & A little about what to Eat

You would first feel very weak (seeing black when you stand up and possibly feinting). If the diet is sustained, you will eventually feel chronically sick in the stomach, followed by being very cold all the time, probable constipation and pain, and after that you may lose your hair and your nails ma...
