Sometimes, I put cucumber and lemon in water. It has that refreshing taste to it. I also put strawberries too for the sweet flovor.. depend what I feel. I do drink a lot more water. I have 32oz bottle and I refill it like 4-5 times a day!

A girl I work w/ just did that the other night and it was SOOOOOOO good! I have been thinking about doing it at home too! :D

So far today I've eaten a banana and will be making an English muffin w/ pb on it soon. Currently drinking a glass of unsweetened iced tea. Not sure if that's going to cut it! I work midnights and thinking I might need something a little stronger to get mojo going today! :coffee:

Still feeling motivated & dedicated to this life change :thumb: this is a first for me. I usually start a diet on Monday morning and by Monday lunch time I've eaten most of calories or points for the whole week. NO MORE MONDAYS!!!!

eating plan still mostly consists of fruits & veggies & lean meats. Like I said before I have been eating only when I am hungry (actually, distractingly hungry) and stopping when I am full.

plan for today is to do at least 1 mile on 5-10% incline on treadmill (straight through--no stops!) I also just received the "Slim in 6" dvd series that mom sent me. So excited to get started on that!

Received a tape measure in dvd pack so I am including measurements:

CHEST: 47"
WAIST: 38.5"
HIPS: 50.5"
RUE: 15.5"
LUE: 15"
RLE: 30"
LLE: 29"

Can anyone recommend a good shake mix for the occasional smoothie?

Try a decent protein shake product.

Just get one with protein and carbs and it only needs about 5-6 ingredients, as it will keep the cost down and the ones with loads of ingredients are often expensive and if they contain "proprietary blends" that permits the manufacturers not to list some of the quantities of ingredients, so you don't know what the quality actually is.

Then you can add all sorts of things to it like honey, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla essence, mocha powder etc, to manipulate the taste.
