not in a any specific area of the body but just all over the body although females do tend to store on hips and thighs and men in the guts but that's probably more a result of diet than anything

Well I had reckoned on the Hips and Thighs thing, so I guess that explains it.

Since body fat percentage and abs are mentioned..I was wondering about something.

I'm 17
157 cms, 5'2 feet, I think.
50 Kgs/ 110 Lbs
Fat percentage = high (29.5%)
I might have lost one percent or so, I don't know yet. I'm going to wait for next BF weigh in.

However, I can see slight abs, but the thing is...Everyone seems o say, if you don't lose weight, you don't lose fat percentage. IS THAT TRUE?

I can't lose a lot of weight. Cause I'm not over-weight. Plus, weight goes up one week, and down the other. No more than one KG.
Can I still lose body fat and not lose weight? since I'm training for muscle?

Does that mean, let's see I have a BF of 25%-26%, I won't SEE abs, fully, and clear?

-Edit-
forgot to metion that I lost inches. B4 I used to be around 33 waist. Now I'm 30 in the morning (until I eat, and get the back, like how it's alwys with me, and i dont know why) Mostly it goes back to normal the next day, morning. Some pants are even big on me, and fall of without unbuttoning the button. But I still don't think I lost BF yet?!

Muscle gains can offset Fat gains sometimes, so weight remains pretty much static in that instance.

You don't need to lose weight to see Abs, if

A: your bf% is in pretty good nick in the first place.

B: you have a clean low fat muscle building diet and workout system.

Obviously if you're 200+lbs with 30%+ bf, then obviously weight loss to see Abs will be crucial.

body fat is high for age, but the thing is, it doesn't really show on me physically. I mean I have bitsy tiny little , people don't even call it a anymoe, I just do. weight is fine, I believe...so in other words..I can still get abs, despite fat percentage because weight is okay?

Darn that was confusing!
