Fats

Post by vamp »

I read this article today and thought it might help some others on here understand trans fat and saturated fat in their diets.

I especially like the part in that article about the dog poop in the food. That cracked me up and was such a great analogy! If more people would look at bad foods like dog poop maybe they would be less likely to eat it!

I told someone one here once to imagine a Pizza as something with puke on it.

They claimed they were immune to such images. Drat!!

Good information. Eat some Pizza Vamp. Make your own with whole wheat crust, tomato sauce, and veggies. Yum. Not bad for you. Or mini pizza's on whole grain English muffins.

I use these pita's. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calori ... ead-520815
I love them for sandwiches, taco's, pizza. 60 calories for a whole pita. I love them with PB2 or naturally more peanut butter and bananas. Yum.

Peanut butter with anything is pretty good :) Eat your pizza and enjoy. If I did not have a cheat meal once a week I would be crazy.

JNicole, the 25 g of fat, what is the breakdown for trans, saturated, mono-saturated? 17 g of protein and 3 carbs is cool!

cheers
