I would take training advice from Fedor Emelianenko. While he does look a pudgey he probably the best MMA fighter there is right now. This is also the guy who runs 7-9 miles daily on top of his regular training. He's a monster, look up some of his fights.

Are there any negative effects of thermogenics?

I'm going to start doing some research on thermogenics to compile something to write for dietetics, to either be for or against the fat burners, I haven't really gotten any data yet on any negative effects. Do you guys know any?

There is no way in hell that your heart rate is that high when you run, if it is you wouldn't be posing on this forum. Max heart rate is 220 - age so do the math. Wait so you work out every day?! That's called over training, your progress will be limited, maybe even regress over time, and you will be fatigued. It's not really powerlifting, it's just a good weight training program.
